The Attic - Tuesdays weekly 6.45 - 8.45pm

The Attic is a social/support group for young LGBT people, or those questioning their sexuality, who are 25 or under. The Attic provides a safe space for young people to meet others in simillar situations to themselves. The group holds regular social evenings based at NLGBA but also plan various trips and activities. Recently members of The Attic went on a weekend trip to London and have enjoyed a visit to Milton Keynes youth group, meals out and nights at the cinema.

Members of the youth group are often involved in helping to make a difference in the lives of other young people, acting as consultants on important issues such as homophobic bullying and helping to design educational resources.

Previously the group were involved in an exciting film making project run by e-volution @ NLGBA. Exploring issues of sexualtiy and identity, the short film was premiered at the Forum Cinema as part of the London LGB Film Festival on tour.
